Community
Service programs provide structured co-curricular opportunities
for students to become active in the greater Flint community
through service in local schools and community-based organizations.
The
office's community service programs and events are designed
to meet real community needs, enhance students' personal and
professional development, and foster a commitment to service
among University of Michigan-Flint faculty, staff and students.
Through these programs, the University works toward achieving
its mission to "enhance the cultural, economic, intellectual
and social vitality of the city and region."
