School Partnerships provide quality school programs that
enhance academic skills and learning through partnerships with
K-12 institutions.
These
programs provide needed supplemental services to K-12 schools,
including:
- Increased
awareness and value of higher education within the community
- Academic
resources to schools in the community
- Intergenerational
mentorship
- Opportunities
for personal growth and development
- Professional
development for community school teachers
The
programs also provide valuable job skills, training and/or research
opportunities for University faculty, staff and students.
